Qi Gong exercises were used by the ancient Shaolin Monks of China to combat poor posture and stiffness after long sittings in meditation. It is similar to Tai- Chi and is now widely used throughout China to help prevent disease and maintain health. Breathing techniques are combined with gentle movements and stances to help build strength, flexibility and endurance. Making you feel energized and full of vitality.

Karina Williams practises Acupuncture and Tui-na

massage at Life Essence and has been studying and training with Qi Gong for 10 years. She is now teaching beginners classes upstairs at Life Essence on Mondays.
